Rotary Vacuum Dryer(Double Cone)-SZG-350

It can be widely used for drying materials in industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, food, dyes, etc., meeting the requirements of the drug management standard “GMP”.

Working Principle

Heat energy (such as hot water, low-pressure steam, or thermal oil) is introduced into the enclosed interlayer, and heat is transferred to the dried material through the inner shell.

Driven by an electric motor, the tank rotates slowly, and the materials inside the tank continuously mix, thereby achieving the goal of strengthening drying.

By using a vacuum pump to pump the tank into a vacuum state, the material is placed in a vacuum state. The pressure drops and the boiling point decreases, causing the water (solvent) on the surface of the material to reach a saturated state and evaporate. The vacuum pump is used to timely discharge and recover the material.

The water (solvent) inside the material continuously permeates, evaporates, and discharges to the surface, and the three processes continue to occur, enabling the material to achieve drying in a short period of time.

Drying temperature

Depending on the physical properties of the material, an appropriate temperature can be selected. Usually, a variable-temperature drying method can be used. In the early stage of drying, the temperature is low and gradually increases to increase the drying rate.

When starting to vacuum and heat up, the drying speed is slow. When the material is heated above the vaporization temperature of water, the drying speed will suddenly accelerate. The material is heated to the vaporization temperature under the corresponding pressure within the allowable temperature range, and a large amount of vaporization occurs. At this time, the material temperature remains unchanged, and the added heat is used for vaporization heat and various heat losses. The vacuum system continuously discharges vaporized steam, maintaining the pressure difference between the evaporation surface and the space, Allow drying to continue. The moisture content of the material decreases to a certain extent, and the moisture evaporated from the material decreases. With the same heating amount, the temperature of the material begins to rise, the pressure difference between the evaporation surface and the space decreases, and the drying enters the deceleration stage. The drying rate gradually decreases until it reaches zero.
