Dry Heat Sterilization Oven – DMH-3

The DMH series dry heat sterilization cabinet products are available for users to choose from, and the configuration and size can also be customized according to the user’s purpose, site, production capacity, etc.

Operation Method

1、 Preparation before Operation:

(1) Check if the power supply is connected and if the emergency stop switch is turned on.

(2) Connect the equipment power and check if the equipment is turned on normally without any abnormalities. Check the door sealing ring and the door for any debris or damage.

(3) Clean the dry heat sterilization cabinet according to the cleaning procedures.

2、 Sterilization Operation

(1) Open the door on the loading side and place the items that need to be sterilized (if equipped with a cart, please push the cart that has loaded the sterilized items into the sterilization cabinet).

(2) Confirm that there are gaps between sterilized items and that sterilized items cannot stick to the inner walls or door panels of the machine.

(3) Close the loading door and check that all openable parts are closed. There is no alarm information. Turn on the equipment and enter the password input interface. Enter the operator password to enter the system, and select the sterilization program according to the process requirements. The operator can only select the program number and change the batch (with a maximum of 12 digits set for the batch). Check if the sterilization parameters are correct before starting the program. If any abnormalities are found, modify the sterilization data or replace the sterilization program first. Click on the settings to change the sterilization batch, and then click on automatic operation.

(4) After starting the sterilization program, operators should not stay away from the equipment and should observe its operating status. If there are any abnormalities, they should be dealt with promptly to prevent accidents from occurring.

(5) Carry out testing of sterilization effectiveness, record and archive sterilization data for easy traceability and inspection.

(6) After sterilization, confirm that the temperature inside the sterilizer has cooled to a suitable temperature (generally less than 80 °C) before opening the door on the unloading side to remove the sterilized items. After removing the sterilized items, they should be placed as required to prevent secondary pollution.

3、 After Work is Completed

(1) Cut off the power supply to the equipment and check if it is turned off properly.

After completing the work, clean the operating room and sterilization cabinet according to the cleaning requirements of the dry heat sterilization cabinet, and clean the sterilizer.

Operational Principle

Dry heat sterilization includes dry hot air sterilization and flame-burning sterilization, which use dry heat methods to kill bacteria and achieve the purpose of sterilization.

The flame sterilization method refers to the sterilization method of directly burning with flames. This method is rapid, reliable, and simple in sterilization, suitable for the sterilization of flame-resistant materials (such as metal, glass, and porcelain) and utensils, but not suitable for the sterilization of drugs.

Dry hot air sterilization refers to the method of sterilization using high-temperature dry hot air. This method applies to the sterilization of high-temperature-resistant glass and metal products, as well as oils and fats that do not allow the penetration of humid and hot gases (such as oil-based ointment mechanisms, injection oils, etc.), and high-temperature resistant powdered chemical drugs. It is not suitable for the sterilization of rubber, plastics, or most drugs. (Our equipment uses this method.)

Process Flow Time

The process flow and time spent on dry heat sterilization cabinets depend on the load that the user needs to handle and the placement of the load.

The process flow can be divided into the following stages and the time spent (for reference only):

No. Stage Time(minutes)
1 Manual loading 10
2 Heating up 40
3 Constant temperature 60
4 Cooling 30
5 Manually Unloaded 10
Total N/A 150
